Haputale Railway Station (හපුතලේ දුම්රිය ස්ථානය) is the 69th station on the Main Line. The station is located between Idalgashinna and Diyatalawa railway stations in Badulla District, Uva Province. It is located 247.97 km (154.08 mi) from Colombo Fort railway stationat an elevation of 1,479.57 m (4,854.2 ft) above sea level.

A watadhageya is a type of Buddhist structure found in Sri Lanka. It also known as a dageba, thupagara and a cetiyagara. it is a structure that is more or less unique to the architecture of ancient Sri Lanka. watadhageya were built around small sthuupa for their protection, which often enshrined a relic or were built on hallowed ground. Circular in shape, they were commonly built of stone and brick and adorned with elaborate stone carvings. watadhageya may have also had a wooden roof, supported by a number of stone columns arranged in several concentric rows.

Mirissa (Sinhala: මිරිස්ස) is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in the Matara District of the Southern Province. It is approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 4 metres (13 ft) above sea level. Mirissa's beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination. It is also a fishing port and one of the island's main whale and dolphin watching locations.
